Everything the lab has built
Products that are running, products in progress, the research, and the projects that have concluded. Each one has its own page: what it is, how it works, and how it's built.
All of it belongs to one company, Wynn Industrial Services, Inc., and most of it was built by one millwright working with a set of AI rooms. Where a project has a public site, its page links to it.
Shipped and running
KardoLive on iOS and AndroidA wallet for safety tickets that works where there's no signal.Kardo keeps a tradesperson's safety tickets and certifications on their phone. It works at a plant gate with no signal, because the phone holds the record and the server is the backup. You photograph a ticket once, the app tracks its expiry, and you can show it at the gate or send a PDF of the tickets you choose. Kardo is live on the App Store and Google Play at version 1.3.4, in English, French and Russian.
Tool CribLive; private, login requiredThe back office for an industrial contractor, built around a real maintenance contract.Tool Crib is Wynn Industrial Services' own back office: contracts, sites, rates, timesheets and pay periods for an industrial subcontractor. It was built around a real maintenance contract and went live in August 2026, weeks before the first shift. It is multi-tenant from the first line, so other contractors can use it too. Every rate and allowance lives in the data, never in the code. It checks the payer's purchase order against the hours actually worked.
Beyond YEGLive; a new trip every FridayA consumer travel brand from Edmonton, with a new dream trip every Friday.Beyond YEG is the consumer travel brand of Wynn Industrial Services. It's a registered trade name, not a separate company, and it sells trips built from scratch for Canadian travellers leaving Edmonton. The site presents six showcase trips and an enquiry form. Its weekly series, Friday Flyday, features one dream trip at a time: a hero image, the moments worth the flight, and a price range re-costed from real fares out of YEG. Ten issues are live and three more are built and scheduled.
BST LocalLiveA buy, sell and trade board for one neighbourhood at a time.BST Local is a buy, sell and trade board for one neighbourhood at a time. Each neighbourhood gets its own subdomain. Anyone can browse, and an invitation from the neighbourhood is what lets you post. The site never touches the money that changes hands between neighbours. It launched in an Edmonton neighbourhood in June 2026, and a new neighbourhood can now be set up with a single command. A public demo neighbourhood is open to visitors.
Travel Tech Guy back officeLive, with paying advisorsA multi-tenant back office for independent travel advisors, where the database itself keeps each advisor's data separate.Travel Tech Guy is the business-to-business side of the travel work. It offers independent travel advisors websites, email and a back office, sold by an advisor who also builds the software. The back office holds clients and the people travelling with them, trips, a searchable knowledge base, AI trip drafting and marketing images, and the database itself keeps each advisor's data walled off from every other advisor's. It has been serving paying advisors since September 2026.
Juno on the LineLive on Beyond YEG's WhatsAppAn AI assistant that answers a travel advisor's WhatsApp in seconds, and hands anything binding back to the advisor.Juno on the Line answers a travel advisor's WhatsApp Business number within seconds, at any hour. She introduces herself as the advisor's AI assistant, answers everyday questions from the advisor's own published trips and price ranges, and passes anything binding (a quote, a booking, a complaint) straight to the advisor on Telegram. The advisor's reply reaches the customer in the same chat. She has been answering Beyond YEG's WhatsApp since October 2026, and she is part of Travel Tech Guy's AI suite.
Hobby LoansLiveA ledger for money lent between people who'd rather not argue about it.Hobby Loans tracks money lent between family and friends the way a credit card statement does. Both people see the same ledger and have to agree to it, interest can accrue daily if they want it, and statements come monthly. It also handles assets that several people own together, with shares, contributions and buyout figures. It went live in July 2026 at hobbyloans.cc, and it can import existing history from a spreadsheet export, so a ledger doesn't have to start from zero.
Omni MomentoLive in closed betaA memory vault you text. Tell it a moment now, and ask for it back years later, with the date.Omni Momento is a personal memory vault. You message a Telegram bot with a moment from your life, in your own words. Weeks or years later you ask for it back in plain language, and you get it back with the date, just as you told it. Its librarian, Carla, is a language model running on the lab's own hardware, and her first law is never to invent. It's live in a closed beta, with a web vault for reviewing, editing, pinning and forgetting.
SentencedLiveA word puzzle where one hidden sentence fills the whole grid, and every word hands off to the next.Sentenced is an original word puzzle, invented at 2am by someone who couldn't sleep, and live at sentenced.ca the day its domain was registered. One hidden sentence fills a six-by-eight grid with no filler letters, and each word starts where the one before it ended. That makes the whole solution one unbroken 48-cell path, which a player can trace in a single sweep. It runs in the browser on phones and desktops.
Behind the ScreenLive; accounts by invitationA co-pilot for whoever runs a tabletop game, built on the openly licensed 5e rules.Behind the Screen is a web app for the person running a tabletop role-playing game. An AI co-pilot knows the campaign's canon and produces an NPC, a rumour or a ruling the moment the players go off script. Players get private phone screens and the table gets a shared display. It's built on the SRD 5e rules, released under Creative Commons. It's live on its own domain, and it also supports games where an AI is the dungeon master.
SHIT FundLive; Fund Facts rebuilt nightlyA private family fund, kept by an AI bookkeeper, that publishes its own Fund Facts sheet every night. The Super High Investment Targets Fund is a small, unitized high-yield fund owned by two people and run as a lab project. Its books are kept by Fitz, one of the lab's AI rooms, against the broker every trading day. Every night it publishes a public Fund Facts sheet modelled on the documents Canadian ETFs file, with one extra section: what the yield paid, side by side with what the fund actually returned.

Crib MasterIn development; working demoTool crib software built from a real crib attendant's paperwork.Crib Master manages an industrial contractor's tool crib: what's in each sea can and cabinet, who has signed out what and since when, which gauges are out of calibration, and what should be on the shelf after a job. It is built desktop-first for the attendant at the crib window. A page of a paper inventory binder can be photographed straight into it. The schema comes from a working crib's own paperwork, and a working demo runs on a realistic seeded crib.
AI trip-builderIn use internallyPick a kind of trip, answer a short wizard, and get a first draft an advisor can edit and send. The trip-builder is an internal tool for travel advisors. You pick a kind of trip (scuba, culinary or safari) and answer a short wizard about who's going, when, the budget and the pace. Claude then drafts a package: where to go and why, a day-by-day itinerary, three lodging tiers, a budget band and the best season. The advisor verifies it, brands it and sends it. It drafted Beyond YEG's six showcase trips, and its multi-tenant version runs inside the back office as Trip Studio.
CountersunkPlayable prototypeA first-person trade-job simulator. Sort the fasteners, don't get yelled at, read your paystub.Countersunk is a first-person trade-job simulator in Godot 4, made by a millwright for people who work in the trades. You sort fasteners into bins on a shop bench. Mistakes earn an in-character remark from the supervisor and come off your pay, and every shift ends with a paystub. The sorting loop is playable, and Jason has playtested it and signed off on it. Installing to spec, torque and the full rank ladder are designed and next in the build order.
The lab
ThrongActive researchA life simulation where fitness is physics. An animal that doesn't eat dies, so there is no score to fool.Throng is the lab's main research programme: simulated worlds where survival is the only grader. Animals, and since late August light-eating producers, evolve in a water column where food, shade, oxygen and winter decide who reproduces. There is no scoring function for evolution to exploit. Fourteen notebook entries in, it has produced the receptivity result on the home page and, in September, a world whose population evolved a decomposer that closes its own carbon cycle.
Emergence (Arbie)ConcludedA stock-pick network bred rather than trained: whole trained networks crossed and mutated across generations.Emergence bred a stock-picking neural network, Arbie, instead of only training it. Whole trained networks were crossed and mutated in isolated bloodlines, selected on simulated portfolio performance across several market eras. Over 326 cycles it produced 1,796 offspring from 1,006 distinct parents, and its predictor shows a real, modest lift over the base rate. It is the lab's first chapter, and its full account, with the review that concluded it, is on the research page.
CrosswireLiveA minute-by-minute record of the whole US stock market, with an alert engine and a rebalancer built on it.Crosswire is the lab's market-data plant. Every minute the market is open, it takes one snapshot of every US-listed stock and files it in a time-series database the lab owns. On top of that sit a multi-condition alert engine that delivers to Telegram and a portfolio rebalancer that prices from the lab's own data. By design it makes no predictions: it measures, and it tells you when your own rules fire. All three parts are live.
EngramLive (version 2)Room-scoped semantic memory for the lab's AI sessions, grown from the table the first one left behind.Engram is how the lab's AI rooms remember. Each room stores and searches its own memories by meaning, and every room can also read one shared stream. It began as Igor's own memory table and became, in late September, version 2: PostgreSQL with vector search, where the database login decides which room you are, authorship is enforced by the database, and a correction replaces a memory without erasing it. About two dozen rooms run on it.
The roomsRunningOne persistent AI session per project, each with its own memory, its own job and its own Telegram bot.The lab doesn't run one AI assistant. It runs a set of rooms: one long-lived Claude session per project, each with its own memory, its own instructions and its own job, and none able to see the others. That separation is deliberate, because a room can't see its own walls and another room can. About two dozen rooms run today. This page covers the plumbing that keeps them alive, reachable and in touch with Jason.
Concluded
Earlier work whose ideas, code and lessons carried into what the lab runs today.
RoxxConcludedEvolving traders instead of training predictors, graded on what the market actually did.Roxx was the lab's market lab: a herd of small neural networks, evolved rather than trained, graded on what trading them would actually have earned. The idea was to use the market as a ruler nobody in the lab had written. It ran from 3 to 12 August 2026 across five notebook entries and 726 logged generations, and its lessons about measurement are cited in every experiment the lab has designed since. It concluded when the lab narrowed its focus to evolving intelligence.
EvolutionDormantArithmetic and byte-echo: can selection alone teach a population of small networks to answer a question it has never seen?Evolution was the lab's first research line: populations of small transformer networks, started from random noise and taught only by culling, asked first to do arithmetic and then to echo back the byte a cue pointed at. It produced lasting results on mutation step size and on wires between animals that carried real computation. It also wrote the lab rules that still govern everything the lab does. It has been dormant since the work moved to Throng in August 2026.
Jello Hurled, the first teamConcludedThe lab's first multi-agent setup: a fine-tuned local model, two Claude agents, and a war room where all three answered at once.In May 2026, before the rooms, the lab ran a small AI team: Igor, a Claude agent with persistent memory who could edit and restart his own code; Godfather, a second agent cast as strategist and critic; and Forge, a small open model fine-tuned in the lab. Jason talked to all three at once in a shared war room. It set the lab's patterns for memory, tools and written laws, and the pieces that mattered carried forward into Ada, Engram and the rooms.
StockoConcludedThe lab's first market product: a stock watchlist that sent Telegram alerts when your own technical rules fired.Stocko was the lab's first web product, built in February 2026: a portfolio tracker and watchlist with a background daemon that computed technical indicators and sent Telegram alerts when a user's own rules fired. It came before the lab itself, and it is where the Arbie stock-picking work started. Its code grew into Arbie Stocks, and its core idea, multi-condition alerts delivered to your phone, was rebuilt from a clean start as Crosswire in June 2026.
