Seed 1 at rounds 398–400 of the overnight Act III watch — the peace that survived its own wealth. Population 753, 1 kill in the last 100 rounds, and twelve whales: the biggest carries +244 fat, ~200× its lean body, ringed in red below. The median guy lives at maintenance (fat ≈ 0). Nobody eats the whales — today’s invasion probe asks why.
The whales are the slowest animals in the ocean (vmax ∝ mass−⅓) and carry the widest nostril baselines (the rim scales with body radius — size buys senses). They are unkillable by physics: a kill needs damage ≥ mass, ~6,000 held ticks on the big one. If predation ever returns here it will be vampirism — the bite siphons flesh without a death.
The chart: population climbs to its honest carrying capacity while max fat (orange) goes near-vertical after round ~125 — and the whale count (red) stays a handful: the ocean’s wealth concentrated instead of spreading. In the vats, this much fat re-priced murder within 150 rounds. Out here: one kill per hundred rounds.
Same physics as The Living Ocean: 1 unit = 1 µm, no momentum, Stokes tax, honest shelf contention, certified fat-guys micro-physics verbatim.
